Suicide and self-injury
Our top priority is the safety of our creators, viewers, and partners, and we rely on each of you to help us safeguard this vibrant community. It's critical that you understand our Community Standards and how they contribute to our shared responsibility of keeping Supernova safe. Please take the time to read the policy below carefully.
We value the health and well-being of all of our creators and viewers at Supernova. We believe that raising mental health awareness and understanding is important, and we encourage creators to share their stories, such as posting content about their experiences with depression, self-harm, or other mental health issues. However, content that promotes suicide, self-harm, or is intended to shock or disgust users is not permitted on Supernova.
What should you do if you come across this content?
Please contact local emergency services for assistance and report the post or image to bring it to our attention if you come across content in which someone expresses suicidal thoughts or engages in self-harm.
What to do if you require assistance
If you're depressed, suicidal, or self-harming, know that help is available and that you're not alone. Many people use suicidal ideation and self-harm as coping mechanisms for painful emotions. Speaking with a professional can assist you in identifying healthy, effective coping strategies as well as developing skills to manage difficult emotions.
A list of suicide prevention organisations dedicated to assisting those in need in various countries and regions is provided below. There are extensive lists of organisations on the websites www.befrienders.org and suicide.org.
