Supernova Community Standards

First of all, it's important to remember that you are the 'Community'.

These guidelines are designed for you to follow to ensure that you and all others on Supernova enjoy a great social experience.

Our top priority is the safety of all people who use the Supernova network; the members of our community or our ‘Novas’. That’s all who post, scroll and comment. All who Sponsor. Our Charity partners. Our team. Our stakeholders and supporters. Our detractors. Anyone and everyone who has reason to look at our pages and the content on our network. Without exception, we want you to have a safe, enjoyable experience you know you can trust.

And as we said at the start; this is your Community. Social Media only exists because people make it exist. Unlike any other form of entertainment, it relies almost entirely 'user generated' content. So the very least we the 'platform' can commit to is to do our utmost to keep it safe.

And, as our community, we look to each and every one of you to help us protect our unique, inclusive, kind and purpose-led network.

It's important therefore that you understand our Community Standards, and the role they play in our shared responsibility to keep Supernova safe. Please take the time to carefully read the policy below. You can also check out this page for a full list of our guidelines.

These Community Guidelines go into many pages of detail, and that's because we want to try and help you with guidance as to what's allowed and what's not in every circumstance we can, and there are many circumstances to address.

However, we want to keep this as simple as we can and in the end Community Standards should boil down to one simple thing you ask yourself before you post anything at all on Supernova.

'Does my post offer value to the day of the community?'

That is; will it make their day better, more positive, or more enriched in any way if they see it? If the answer is 'no', then please DO NOT post it. And if it's 'yes', well then please post away.

One other matter; all who use Supernova are making something Super and New happen. You're all part of this, so we'd like to call our community the Supernova Community. The Supernovas; or 'Novas' for short and you'll see we refer to 'Novas' in these pages.

And, now, for the detail:

These Community Guidelines set out to help and protect our community. They help clarify what's allowed and not allowed on Supernova. They are not exhaustive and so- since they are for you- we encourage you to add ideas and points you feel we should we should cover with suggestions here. All types of content on our platform, including photos, posts, comments, links and thumbnails are covered.
